We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Purple Mouthwash products made from our website, authorised retailers, or direct sales channels. It outlines your rights, our obligations, and the process for returns, exchanges, and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase; by ordering from us, you agree to the terms below.



1. General Eligibility for Returns


We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. You may return products under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order.
  • Product Condition:
    • Unused, unopened, and in its original, sealed packaging. The packaging must be undamaged, with all labels, seals, and safety features intact.
    • Opened or used products can only be returned if they are defective, damaged, or do not match the product description (see Section 3).
    • Products that have been damaged due to misuse, improper storage, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear are not eligible for return or refund.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email, receipt, or invoice, to process any return or refund.

Note: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used mouthwash products unless they are proven to be defective or contaminated, in line with health and safety regulations.



2. Non-Returnable Items


The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Opened, used, or partially consumed Purple Mouthwash products (unless defective or damaged).
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or third-party marketplaces not approved by our brand.
  • Items marked as "final sale," "clearance," or "non-returnable" at the time of purchase.
  • Products damaged due to incorrect storage, improper use, or failure to follow usage instructions.



3. Returns for Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items


If you receive a product that is:

  • Defective, faulty, or contaminated;
  • Damaged during transit;
  • Incorrect (wrong product, flavour, or quantity);
  • Expired before the stated expiry date;

Please contact our customer support team within 7 calendar days of receiving your order. We will resolve the issue at no extra cost to you, by either:

  • Issuing a full refund;
  • Sending a replacement product;
  • Offering a credit note or discount for future purchases.

Steps to report:

  1. Provide your order number, photos of the product, packaging, and damage/defect, and a brief description of the issue.
  2. We may request you to return the affected item for quality checks; we will cover all return shipping costs in this case.
  3. Once verified, we will process your resolution within 5–7 working days.



4. Returns for Change of Mind


If you simply change your mind or no longer want the product, you may return it within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unopened, sealed, and in original condition.

  • You will be responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we are not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund for the product cost only. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.



5. Refund Process


5.1 Approval and Timing


  • All refunds are subject to inspection and approval of the returned product.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 working days from the date we receive and verify your return.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. Please note that banks or payment providers may take an additional 3–10 working days to reflect the funds in your account, depending on their processing times.

5.2 Partial Refunds


We reserve the right to issue partial refunds in the following cases:

  • Products are returned opened, damaged, or missing parts/accessories, and the issue is not due to our error.
  • Products are returned after the 30-day eligibility window but are still in resalable condition.



6. Exchanges


We offer exchanges for:

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items (free of charge).
  • Change of mind requests, subject to product availability and eligibility criteria in Section 1.
  • If you wish to exchange a product, please contact us first to confirm stock availability and process the request. You may need to cover shipping costs for change-of-mind exchanges.



7. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

8. Special Notes


  • Expiry Dates: Our products have a minimum shelf life of 12 months from the date of dispatch. If you receive an item with less than 6 months remaining before expiry, please contact us immediately for a replacement or refund.
  • Health & Safety: Purple Mouthwash is a cosmetic/oral care product. Do not use the product if you notice any changes in colour, smell, texture, or seal breakage. Discontinue use and contact us right away.
  • Consumer Rights: This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection laws in the United Kingdom. You are entitled to remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods as required by law.
